Aruna (memories)

"Catch me if you can!", the filly screamed and ran over the marble floor a young sooty palomino colt at her tail tip. Both foals were giggling from joy as they chase each other in their play hunt.

"Got you.", the colt said as he jumped right in front of the filly. The little mare gasped and the next moment they both lay on the floor looking rather confused. She didn't managed to stop in time and so she fell over him. For a moment they looked at each other just to burst out into laughter a second ago. The filly giggled and rolled around while the little colt tried to get back on his hooves. Finding grip on the marble floor with those long legs wasn't that easy and so he fell back on the ground.

"Dammit!", he snorted and sighed.

The filly looked at him and needed to giggle again before she looked over to the columns where the violet wisteria was blooming.

"Edymion there are plants growing...", she said and the colt looked up.

"Oh.", he said and closed his eyes.

Slowly the plants started to move and two big branches crawl over the floor into the direction of the foals under them to lift them up so that they both got back onto their hooves before they crawl back to the columns and rest there like nothing happend.

"That was great.", the filly said and flickered her little tail,"You are getting better Endymion. I'm sure one day you will let grow flowers everywhere."

"And you will create wind that's so strong that you can mess up Zeus beard.", the colt giggled.

The filly giggled to but suddenly she pricked her ears. She heard a noise from behind the long curtains.

"Come out Kata.". she said, "I know that you are there."

Endymion looked up as well and turned his head into the direction the filly was looking.

The curtains were moving and another colt appeared from behind them. His dark eyes were sparkling in the light of the lanterns as he looked up the the other two foals.

"Come and play with us.", the filly said and jumped over to the other colt.

"No.", was all he replied.

"Oh come on. It's fun. Don't be so serious.", she said.

"I'm not serious. I just don't see any reason in running around and falling down to get lifted up by plants.", he replied.

"Kata we are playing. There exist no reason to play. It's just fun.", the filly said and rolled her eyes.

"Zeloma is right. It's just fun. It doesn't have a deeper meaning Kataigída at least not as far as I know.", Endymion said.

Zeloma nodded her head before she started to jump around Kata.

"Let's play. Let's play. Let's plaaayyy!", she started to sing.

The roan colt dropped his head and sighed.

"I'm busy.", he said,"I have no time to play."

The filly stopped and looked at him.

"Busy?! Busy with what? Spying on other people.", she asked.

"I'm not spying. I'm observing. That's quiet a difference Zeloma.", Kata replied slightly huffy.

Zeloma looked at him. Her bright moonstone eyes meet his redish brown ones. Suddenly they turned sad and the filly looked away.

"You never want to play with us Kata. Sometimes I believe you simply don't like us.", she said and walked back to Endymion,"And if you don't like us that tell it to us instead of inventing stupid excuses why you can't come and play."

The little roan looked at the filly and seamed to be surprised by her quick mood change.

"I never said that I don't like you. It's just...", he said and stopped.

"It's just what?", she asked.

Kata turned his head away and kept silence.

"It's just what? Come on and speak now or I need to believe it's just another lame excuse.", the filly said and stomped on the ground.

The colt looked on the ground and took a deep breath.

"I don't know how to play because the others don't like me and never wanted to play with me.", he said silently.

Zeloma and Endymion were looking at each other before they both walked over to Kata. Zeloma rubbed her head against Kata's back and Endymion just touched him with his nostrils.

"But why? You never did something bad. You just speak not much but that's no reason to not like you.", the sooty palomino said.

"Because I can only make rainstorms and than they can't play outside because of me. They find me stupid.", Kata said and kicked a little stone away that was lying on the marble tiles.

Zeloma snorted and stomped on the ground again.

"Pfft! They are stupid themself. I like it when you make storms. Whenever you make a storm I can make the wind to let the raindrops dance.", she said.

"Yes.", Endymion agreed,"And the rain you make let my flowers grew so that they can bloom in every color."

Zeloma smiled and nodded her head.

"Come on Kata. Let's play. Endymion and I can show you how playing works and we can be friends. I so don't care what the others say or think. I like you and so does Endymion.", she said before she touched Kata's cheek with her nostrils. The colt was frozen for a moment before he turned his head away so that the filly couldn't see that he was blushing.

"Okay.", he whispered.

The two other foals started to smile.

"Let's start with a race.The first at the end of the hall is the winner.", the filly said and ran away followed by the two colts.

Zeloma was lying at the beach watching the stars. She was totally lost in her thoughts as she heard somebody snorting behind her. As the mare turned her head she looked right into the shining eyes of the beast.

"Zion?!", she ask gently and the big stallion answered with another snort before he let himself fall on the ground right beside her placing his massive head on the ground pinning his ears back on his neck like he was sad and pissed at the same time.

"Are you lonely Zion? Celes forbid you to go with him and Vankur right.", she asked as gentle as before.

Zion growled and looked up to her from a corner of his eye. Yes he was lonely and angry and sad. He didn't understand why Celes didn't want to have him around this night. Zeloma chuckled slightly. No matter how dangerous he could be he was also very cute.

"Shall I sing you a song Zion?", she asked him and he replied with a small ear movment.

The cavitto mare smiled again.

"I learned than song when I was a little baby foal.", she explained,"It's about all the beautiful things around us and how much we love them."

The massive stallion was listening to her words or better to her voice since he didn't really understand what she was talking about. As Zeloma started to sing Zion pricked his ears. She had a beautiful voice. Zion snorted silently to not disturb her and closed his eyes a bit. His breath became steady and as she stopped she realized that he fell asleep. Zeloma smiled again. She didn't move an inch to not wake him up.

"Sleep well Zion.", she whispered before she looked back up to the stars. Thinking back to the time when she was a foal and roamed the spheres of the gods together with her best friends Endymion and Kataigída.

*Maybe we will see each other again.*, she thought,*I miss you very much. Especially you my beloved Kataigída.*

Next part of Zeloma's story and this time *SweetLittleVampire's stallions Endymion and Kataigída are part of the story too. ^^
Sweet and I decided that Kata was Zeloma's mate and true love. So the coming foal between them will be something very special.

And as we see it seems like Zion starts to like Zeloma. I think we can call it some kind of a growing friendship.

It was such a fun to draw those foals and to partly manip the background. I'm really proud of that background even if I think it can't count for points since it's only partly drawn. But I don't care I love it. ^^
