Abilities: 

- trough the magic of the whisper pearls he's able to talk to different species and understand them (as long as he wears them)
- Glenarddun and him are able to communicate on a magical connection that my only be heard by another mage but not by
mortals.
- Morien is able to perform magic on a minor level, such as shielding himself from attacks and self-healing powers. They can be 
enhanced and boosted through the moonwater crystals but he would never be able to perform strong spells.
- As bonded companion he's able to drag curses, hexes and other attacks with black magic from Glenarddun onto himself to shield
the young mages powers from being poisoned by darkness.

Character: 

Morien is a talkative stag...an annoying talkative one and the fact that he has the whisper pearls make it even worse. He can't shut his mouth for longer than five minutes and he tends to know everything better than anybody else. Sometimes he get small attacks of haughtiness and if he has his haughty minutes he tends to ignore everybody and everything around him like they don't worth to be with him. He hates getting to dirty and he would never do things where you can get very dirty.

Morien's greatest pride is his rack. One reason why he hates the time he has none. He's calling it the 'doe season' because he looks like a doe during that time. As soon as his new rack grew he starts do decorate it with all kind of stuff (preferable with moonwater crystals) to let it look even flashier.

He's a ladiesman and likes to flirt with every doe-like creature that comes along no matter what it is.

Since he's used to get pampered and served all the time he's not really independent and has no clue how to do different things on his own. He's also not scared of humans or other animals and would not run away from a wolf (because they look like dogs) like every other deer or fawnling would do. A problem that easily bring him into danger so that Glen need to save him. 

Beside his sometimes annoying and bitchy behavior he's really loyal and would fight for or with Glen until his last breath. He's protective over his human companion and would never hesitate to attack if Glen should be in danger.

History:

Morien wasn't born behind the walls of the palace but he got raised there. Caught as a small fawn and growing up in captivity he doesn't remember much about the life in the wild and his parents.

Shortly after his arrival he already choose a favorite human among the many concubines of the lord of the south, a young men called Glenarddun. Morien started to follow him everywhere, sleeping beside him and playing with him only, what made the others really jealous, since everybody wanted to pamper the little baby fawn. First Gelnarddun tried to keep the fawn on distance so that it didn't focus itself to much on him but he failed and ended up with a little animal that was like glued to him. 

During the years Morien grew from a glued-to-you fawn into a protective stag, who was ready to defend his self-chosen partner from all kind of danger with his rack,hooves and teeth. 

Since a few weeks Morien is planning to escape the palace together with Glenarddun to return to the high North, the place Glen came from.
