Description

The night spread her cloak over the island like she want to wrap the world in a black velvet blanket. Far away from the sable grounds where two horses resting. A giant stallion with a deep dark mane made of curls. His strong body and deep red fur covered with black stripes and tribal markings. His eyes were closed and his breath was calm and steady. At his side an small stallion wrapped in a cloak made of lavender colored silk. As musculus and strong the big one seemed to be as slender and fine this one was. His curved ears made him look even more elegant as his appearance already was and his calm golden eyes sparkled like gems in the light of the fire from the fireplace. He looked up to sky watching the stars like a stargazer. He snorted silently like he didn't want to wake the other one up before he shook his head carefully to avoid messing up his hair that was filled with all kind of decoration. The pendant that was hanging on a golden necklace around his neck jingled silently and started to glow a bit. He took a deep breath and looked back at the other stallion who was still sleeping. Silent and gracile like a doe he got up and walked away from the fireplace no single noise was escaping from his hooves.
He walked along the trees at the border of the forest down to the lake to drink a bit but suddenly he stopped and rose his head high. There was a light shimmering between the trees and he could feel the airwaves of magic wafting towards him like the night fog that was crawling over the floor. His pendent started to glow again and he decided to follow that magical power he could feel there. His steps where as careful as he was as he approached the source of the power he could feel in every fiber of his body. The feeling guided him to a forest glade and in it's middle he found a mare lying in the wet grass surrounded by the fog of sadness. Her body was shivering but she was silent. He walked closer to her being silent as well until he was standing right in front of her.

"Are you fine?", he asked her with his tender voice that didn't reveal if he was a mare or a stallion.

The mare looked up to him and it was now that he could see that she cried. Tears of sadness and despair filled her eyes that look like moonstone and ran down her face until the meet the earth and mixed them self up with the night dew. Her voice sound broken as she spoke and didn't want to obey her like it should.

"Please help me.", she said while even more tears found her way down to the ground.

The fog that surrounded them became thicker and he could feel that this wasn't normal night fog. The fog of despair. An evil creature that feed itself on the worry, the angst and the pain of others. He closed his eyes and the crystal pendent around his neck started to shine in a bright violet color before it turned light blue and send out light bursts that rip the fog apart. As the fog was gone only the light stayed and enlightened the forest glade like a bonfire would.

"You are a sorcerer?", she said looking at him with her big moonstone eyes.

"I prefer the term magician.", he said with a smile,"Sorcerer sounds so evil to my ears even if not every sorcerer is evil."

The mare tried to get up but her legs didn't want to obey her and she fell back to the ground.

"Don't move. Your body is still weak like your powers are. The fog of despair feed itself on magical powers and you were like a feast for him. But may I ask you what guided a divine being like you from the highest ether down to the world of us mortals?", he said gently.

The mare was silent for a moment. She could hear his words in her ears.

I will banish you all!

Why did he banish them? Why did he banish her? She did nothing wrong. Sadness came back to her heart and filled it to the top.

"I got banished.", she replied on the magicians question.

"But you were innocent am I right?", he asked.

She looked at him with surprise.

"You don't look like a criminal nor did your soul felt like she's filled with evilness. Who ever banished you did a mistake.", he continued,"But now you are here and I guess you may not return to the place you came from. I can't offer you much since I'm not blessed with divine powers like you but I may share my home with you so that you don't need to stay out in the darkness."

He smiled at her and his gentle eyes where glimmering in the moonlight. She didn't know what to say. He didn't even know her but he offered her a place to stay and rest. What a gently and innocent soul must he have?

"How did your mother call you?", she asked him.

"My mother passed away before she could gift me with a name but my father called me Celes. So my name is Celes son of Elides out of the line of Seleas. And you? May I ask you how your mother named you.",he answered.

"I'm not named by my mother as well since I have none. I was created by the gods and they gifted me with the name Zeloma which means greatest luck.", she said and tried to get up again. This time her body obeyed her and she got back onto her hooves. She shook her mane and looked at him who was still standing in front of her. It was now that she realized how small and slender he was and she was amazed by the fact what power that fragile body was able to bare without shattering into pieces. She moved a step towards him but suddenly she felt the ground under her hooves shaking. Another stallion appeared between the trees. The markings on his body were glowing like his eyes as be bared his teeth letting the growl of an angry lion escaping his throat. The small stallion turned his head towards the beast in the shadow of the trees and before it had the chance to attack a light burst throw him down to the ground.

"No.", he said with a firm voice walking over to the stallion on the ground,"She's no danger nor did she try to harm me. If you should dare to attack her I will punish you. Did I made myself clear."

The stallion looked up and growled again before he turned his eyes away from Celes look.

"Fine.", Celes said and relased him so that he could get up.

"You are not only a magician but also a beastmaster?", Zeloma said looking at the stallion behind Celes,"Does that mean you are..."

"An Alvaris of the South? Yes.", he ended her sentence and answered her question before he continued,"He will not harm you if I didn't allow him to do so. And he knows that if he should dare to he will feel my rage."

The beast growled again and snorted but a short glare from Celes side let him stop.

"As I said before you are welcome to join us if you want to. My fireplace and my home will be yours.", Celes said again and looked up to Zeloma.

The mare was unsure for a moment. The beast behind the magician was a dangerous creature but she heard enough about those horses known as the beast tamers to be sure that he could control that creature and much more important he offered her a new home to stay. A generous gift she could hardly say no to. Zeloma looked up to the sky for a moment. She wasn't sure if she would ever return to the place she came from. Maybe this wouldn't become a punishment but a gift. A new start in a new world with new friends and new things to discover. Zeloma closed her eyes. She missed her home but it would help her if she stay here hoping to get saved.

"I would be glad to join you.", she said.

Celes smiled and turned back to the beast behind him.

"Go and make sure that the fire will be bright enough. We need to keep her warm. She's our guest now.", he ordered.

The stallion walked off as Celes told him and the magician turned himself back to the Cavitto mare.

"Follow me. I will guide you through the darkness to our resting place.", he said and walked off towards the border of the forest. Zeloma followed him without looking back again. Weeping wouldn't help her. She needed to face her future far away from the world of the gods and she was glad to not be alone on her new path she has to go.

The first story for my Cavitto mare Zeloma is done. I can't count it for Veritas points since it's the same as her ref picture but that doesn't matter. The story needs a beginning and here it is. Enjoy it guys. ^^

I'm so in love with her since I saw her for the first time and now she's mine and I still can't believe it.

She will get her own storyline together with Celes who's part of the new breed *SweetLittleVampire and I are working on. For all those who want to know how Celes looks he's here fav.me/d6newgp
